Warehouse Delivery Driver

Job Details

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse/Delivery Driver to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for various warehouse tasks, including receiving and organizing freight, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with lighting deliveries. Additionally, you will handle packing, loading, and delivering furniture, art, mirrors, rugs, and home accessories. As a valuable member of our client’s team, you will start primarily in the warehouse and gradually transition to more delivery-related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and open incoming freight, verifying contents against shipping documents.
• Ensure the warehouse and work area are kept clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with packing and loading furniture, art, mirrors, rugs, and home accessories onto the delivery truck.
• Deliver items to designated locations on scheduled routes.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle any necessary paperwork or documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate delivery schedules effectively.
• Assist with lighting deliveries when required.
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while driving and operating the delivery vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid standard Driver’s License.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse and/or delivery experience is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy furniture and home accessories (up to 50 lbs.) safely.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
