Schedule: Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12:00am & OT on Saturday as needed

Pay: $14.17/hr – Eligible for increase to $15.20/hr after 90 days

Job Description:

We are looking for a Tube Mill Machine Operator to work on our 2nd shift who will operate various machines, including Draw Bench 36k & 50k, Pointer, Annelear, Eddie Tester, in the production of copper tubing. The position is physically demanding, requiring employees to lift, push, and pull up to 75lbs.

Responsibilities:

Operate various machines, including Draw Bench 36k & 50k, Pointer, Annelear, Eddie Tester, to produce copper tubing

Feed long pieces of tubing into the Pointer machine to put a point on the tube for easy feeding into the next machine

Move tubing from one area to another by pushing, pulling, and light lifting

Heat the copper tubing to 500 degrees in the Tube Annelear machine to soften the copper and make it more malleable

Stretch the copper tubing in the Draw Bench machine to make it into different diameters

Test the grain structure of the tubes in the Eddie Tester machine, ensuring the tubes are 85-90% pure copper

Use the quality testing machine to monitor the different elements and adjust the pot as needed
