TIG Welder

Job Details

We are seeking a skilled and reliable TIG Welder to join our client’s growing company in Springdale, AR, with a competitive pay rate of $18/hour. In this position, you will be responsible for performing welding and fabricating tasks, following blueprints, and adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, manufacture, and assemble metal parts.
• Follow blueprints to ensure exact specifications of output.
• Produce strong and clean welds using TIG welding techniques.
• Review and inspect output to ensure the strength and tolerance of welds.
• Unload tools, prepare and stack site materials, and set up equipment.
• Follow project instructions from the project lead or supervisor.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment to complete daily tasks.
• Follow all health and safety regulations when using tools or equipment.
• Ensure proper use of headgear, earplugs, gloves, safety glasses, and clothing.
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Safely operate tools including drills, grinders, and hand tools.
• Clean and clear debris after project completion.
• Properly clean and store equipment and tools.
• Utilize Pallet Jacks and Fork Lifts to move materials as needed.

Qualifications

Welder / Fabricator Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of prior welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in common welding tools and procedures, including TIG welding, MIG welding, metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metals.
• Ability to stand, crouch, and occasionally lift heavy equipment.
• Experience in blueprint reading and knowledge of common welding symbols.

General Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships are a plus.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable climbing ladders as needed.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
