Saw Operating Technician

Location: Fayetteville, AR

Pay Rate: $15.50/hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Saw Operating Technician for a company in Fayetteville, AR. The Saw Operating Technician will be responsible for operating the aluminum auto cut-off saw and performing set-up and inspection of materials. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in saw operation and be familiar with the necessary tools and procedures.

Essential Functions:

Operate the aluminum auto cut-off saw

Perform set-up and inspection of materials

Keep accurate piece counts, maintain tool logs, process notebooks and memo books up to date

Retrieve correct tube from the tube bay

Remove empty tube boxes to proper location outside after each shift

Clean up machine after use

May be required to sort product when needed

Empty shavings from machines

Qualifications:

Previous experience in saw operation preferred

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
