Mon- Fri 6am-3pm

Pay $15 per hours

 

 

Summary:

This position completes daily Quality Assurance audits on incoming product, product produced on the production floor as well as orders picked daily. Complete first articles, endurance test, and life cycle testing as required.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs audits, investigations, and special studies on quality issues.
  • Performs endurance/function tests on Daisy products based on procedures in place
  • Performs cosmetic inspections of gun assemblies and components based on procedures in place
  • Completes special gun request as needed.
  • Ensures that incoming material and parts are properly identified and inspected
  • Carries out required testing based on ASTM standards
  • Documents results on applicable records and submits for review
  • Helps resolve nonconformance issues at lowest level of supervision/management.
  • Assures continuous refinement of the Quality Program.
  • Performs inspections of Daisy Product using calipers, micrometers, microscopes etc…
  • Files documents & reports in proper storage area.
  • Performs daily audits on pickers in shipping department.
  • Performs daily audits on the production floor
  • Ensures that document control procedures are met
  • Uses pallet jack to move product
  • Keep inspection/testing tools and measurement devises properly stored when not being used
  • Observe and report any missing, broken, malfunctions or non functioning electronic gages, devices, and/or inspection tools and fixtures.
  • Focuses on company safety rules and policies to work safely on the job.
  • Shares responsibility for compliance of safety rules and policies and reports unsafe conditions to immediate supervisor.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma/GED preferred and/or 6 months to1 year manufacturing experience.  Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and statistical process control recommended. Must have the ability to communicate clearly, organize data into reports and charts, and make sound, independent judgments. Should possess good analytical, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, Medium Work…Job involves frequent standing, stooping/kneeling, crouching, reaching, speaking/listening, seeing, standing, pulling/pushing, grasping, repetitive motions, sitting, bending, twisting, walking, and lifting up to 35-40 lbs. required with an occasional lift of up to 55 lbs. The position requires that you work in many different areas of the plant.

Workplace Environmental Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal. Hot and cold working conditions.

This position is one in which a lapse of attention could result in injury, illness, or death. For the safety of the employee and others, the employee must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and concentrate for long periods of time while operating, maintaining, and monitoring heavy equipment and machinery, and while working with and around hazardous materials, at heights, in confined spaces or performing life-threatening procedures.
