Planning/Production Analyst

Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM



This position is responsible for assigned production scheduling and related production activities. Will develop, monitor, and maintain Master Production Build Schedules, and will interface with customers on all order fulfillment activities. This position will require you to have advanced Excel skills and a strong attention to detail. Responsibilities for the position will include but may not be limited to:



  • Develops, publishes and maintains the assigned Master Production Schedule
  • Plans and schedules production, NPI’s and related manufacturing
  • Facilitate the Expediting/De-Expediting of all schedule changes
  • Enters and maintains all customer order activities in compliance with the established business agreements/contracts of assigned accounts
  • Responds to customer inquiries on open/closed orders, product availability, lead-times, and pricing
  • Develops, publishes and maintains the Master Production Schedule for assigned accounts
  • Initiates appropriate corrective actions to production schedules when dictated by changes in business
  • Participates in the Change Control Board activities that include the coordinating of Engineering Change Notice (ECN) effectivity with Purchasing, Scheduling, and Production
  • Participates in new/sustaining product teams, representing Purchasing, Master Scheduling, and Customer Service
  • Ensures Expedites and/or reschedules are administered to the corporate guidelines and appropriate business practices
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all company policies and guidelines.




  • Associate’s degree in business or equivalent- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related technical field Preferred
  • Five years’ experience in the manufacturing planning field or production environment and/or college related courses
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and materials. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
  • APICS certification with considerable experience using MRP planning software
  • Three years’ experience in the EMS planning field (Forecasting, Capacity Analysis, and Production Scheduling)
  • Knowledge of PRMS & MRPII
