Location: Westville, OK

Starting Pay: $13.77/Hour

Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking Packaging Technicians for a short-term position in Westville, OK. As a Packaging Technician, you will be responsible for performing basic packaging duties of plumbing parts and preparing orders for shipping. Your primary tasks will include assembling and labeling product packages, inspecting items for quality assurance, and ensuring accurate quantities and specifications are met. You will also be responsible for organizing and maintaining packaging supplies and materials. This is a first shift position, Monday through Friday, from 6 am to 2:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic packaging duties, including assembling and labeling product packages.
• Inspect plumbing parts for quality assurance and ensure they meet specified standards.
• Accurately count and package items according to order requirements.
• Maintain an organized inventory of packaging supplies and materials.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in packaging or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow packaging instructions accurately.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly inventory of packaging supplies.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift packages, and perform repetitive tasks.
