A local wholesale lumber company is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join their team! The best person for the position will have previous experience with sales in the lumber or construction industries. This position will require you to be a self-starter, to have excellent communication and follow-up skills, and the ability to see the big picture. This position will offer growth opportunities as well as a full benefit package to include medical/dental/vision, 401K with matching, LTD/STD, and life insurance. Responsibilities of the position will include but may not be limited to:
• Identify and establish contact with potential customers
• Schedule in-person or on-site meetings with potential customers
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
• Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers
• Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
• Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
• Responsible for offering the best possible customer experience as well as providing hands-on explanations of any new or updated products when necessary
• Will pursue new accounts to assist with business growth
• Representing the company with class and integrity
