• Fix and repair equipment as breakdowns occur.
• Organize and schedule routine preventive maintenance for all machinery in the plant.
• Diagnose/troubleshoot all electrical issues.
• Schedule, train, supervise and motivate employees for the maintenance dept.
• Coordinate with production manager on disruptions of production due to maintenance needs.
• Keep accurate account and logs for all maintenance performed to each piece of equipment.
• Maintain clean and safe work space in maintenance areas.
• Lookup and ordering of all parts and supplies needed.
• Plan all upcoming and current projects.
• Control and monitor inventory.
• Coordinate work performed by outside contractors.
• Collect quotes needed for current and future projects.
• Ensure company policies are followed during the purchasing process.
• Implement safety policies and procedures for the maintenance dept.
