Job Details
Currently seeking a candidate with machine set up and operation experience for a candle manufacturer in south Fayetteville! This job has been classified by our client as Safety Sensitive according to state law guidelines and drug testing and fit-for-duty evaluation may be required as a condition of employment. We are hiring for the following positions:
Wick Machine Operator
Mixer/Pour Machine Operator
Scentsy Line Mixer Operator
Key Responsibilities
- Program machines using specifications provided by the customer
- Inspect jars for defects and ensure the jar spacing machine is set properly
- Ensure adequate production flow, appropriate jar heating, and correct fill height of jars
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Evaluate and suggest process improvements
Qualifications
- Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts and stand for the entire shift
- Ability to work with strong floral fragrances
- Must be able to train on 1st shift before being moved to 2nd shift
- Detail-oriented with the ability to perform basic math skills and work with percentages
