Location: Springdale, AR

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Salary: $12-13 per hour

Job Description:

Our client, a local housing complex, is seeking a motivated and organized individual to join their team as an Intake Coordinator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the resident intake process. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a team player mentality. As an Intake Coordinator, your responsibilities will include answering inquiries, assisting residents and visitors, collecting payments, maintaining accurate records, coordinating maintenance requests, conducting applicant interviews, and ensuring compliance with program eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls, screen inquiries, and greet visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Provide general information about the housing complex and direct calls or visitors to the appropriate personnel or department.
  • Collect rent payments and issue receipts, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely deposits.
  • Post daily transactions to resident accounts, including adjustments, miscellaneous charges, security deposits, and move-outs.
  • Handle maintenance requests, categorize work orders, enter them into the system, and notify maintenance staff.
  • Run daily reports to track outstanding balances, deposits, and adjustments, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Conduct applicant interviews, explain program eligibility requirements, and assist with form completion and documentation.
  • Verify income and resources to determine financial eligibility of applicants, including criminal background checks.
  • Request additional documentation when necessary and visit applicant residences as needed.
  • Perform various support duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and data entry.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
  • Knowledge of housing programs and eligibility requirements (preferred).
  • Experience in customer service or administrative roles (preferred).
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
