Pay Rate: $15-20/hr Depending on Experience.

This job has been classified by our client as Safety Sensitive according to state law guidelines and drug testing and fit-for-duty evaluation may be required as a condition of employment.

Work hours would be 6 am to 2:30 pm M-F unless emergency work was needed.

Industrial Maintenance Job Description

Maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery, consisting of mechanical and electrical equipment.  Valid drivers license and clean drivers license is required.

Job Summary

Position is for a multi-trade maintenance technician.  Must be able to work independently to follow preventative maintenance schedules but also as part of a team.  Must be a well-rounded individual who can perform efficient work on a variety of equipment that needs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical maintenance.

Requirements and qualifications

Experience with industrial maintenance is preferred; troubleshooting breakdowns a must

Thorough working knowledge of industrial equipment, its used and safety procedures

Self-motivated, responsible and Safety Oriented

Positive attitude, willingness to learn new skills and techniques.  Time management skills a must.

Normal shift is 6:00-2:30 M-F but must be available for second shift call in.

Job Duties

Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive and corrective maintenance requirements.  This includes motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, conveyors and other production machines for roll forming and red Irom production.

Strong welding skills required.  Must be knowledgeable in use of caliper, micrometers and other measuring instruments.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Ability to communicate with all levels of production a must.

Tech Skills

Must be familiar with the use of:

VOM, Temperature Probes, Multimeter, Megger, DS&AC Amperage Clamp Meter.

Must be proficient reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical and electrical prints.

Troubleshoot AC and DC Drives, Servo Drives, Plasma, Sub-arc and Roll forming equipment.

Have the following machines and mechanic skill:

Drill, Grinder, Pneumatics, Hydraulic, Valves Vacuum Pumps,

Must have basic Maintenance tools, not limited to those listed below.
