Financial Implementation Manager:

 

Pay: $75,000 – $80,000/Year

JOB SUMMARY

The Financial Implementation Manager is responsible for analyzing the current Financial business processes of new customers and successfully implementing required processes into the Transplace TMS. This role works with the assigned project team to develop, test, and deploy work processes and technical requirements for the customer’s Financial future state design. The key objective is to build a complete Financial process solution within scope, on time, and to budget. The successful candidate will possess strong communication and presentation skills, business acumen, and the analytical ability to proactively identify issues, propose and implement acceptable solutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS

  • Obtain customer current Financial state processes and evaluate requirements against Transplace standards
  • Work directly with customer and internal project team to ensure transparency of all requirements and execute in a manner that supports and enables the customer’s strategic directions
  • Establish strong, consistent, and professional customer and internal project communications; effective, prompt and courteous communications with respect to difficult situations
  • Develop customer Financial configuration within terms of contract while utilizing current Best Practices
  • Create and present customer with Financial future state processes for Implementation
  • Prepare and distribute Financial requirements across all teams for solution design (Operations, IT, Reporting, Finance)
  • Collaborate with the Financial Implementation Analyst to design and implement testing scenarios, validating all financial and accounting requirements
  • Review and present customer with new Financial future state process for sign off
  • Align internal Operation and Finance teams on customer future state processes
  • Special projects as assigned

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office products including: PowerPoint, Visio, Excel and Word
  • Advanced Presentation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Simultaneous management of multiple projects – ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environment
  • Subject matter expertise related to project implementation, hand off of business requirements for solution development (configuration tool, understanding of mapping, system development, etc.)
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to envision and implement new concepts/strategies
  • General knowledge of Order to Cash cycle, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills dealing with diverse work groups, vendors and customers
  • Negotiation Skills
  • TMS/TMSF (Knowledge of all Transplace applications and how they work together)
  • Transplace Expertise (Understand and know the Mission, Values and Goals, organizational structure, company history, how we function internally, administration, best practices, processes, behavior, the complete Transplace order-to-cash, etc.)

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of Implementation experience
  • 3+ years of customer facing Client Relations
  • Knowledge of Transportation industry an asset

 

TRAVEL

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

 

EDUCATION

  • College degree preferred
