Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Location(s): Fayetteville
purpose
Provides maintenance and facility support for Fayetteville location including installation, preventative maintenance and repair of equipment, facility structure and upkeep of landscape.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs routine preventative maintenance operations
Repairs and maintains physical structure and other pieces of equipement and office furniture
Install/Repair ceiling tiles, light bulbs and ballasts as needed
Assemble and tear down of racking
Performs forklift battery inspections
Performs minor forklift repair
Assists in conveyer PM/Rework and repair
Performs some fabrication/welding
Electrical install/new and rewrok/repair
Floor repair
Generator Maintenance
Fan repair
Fire supression
Utilize standard hand, portable power tools and large equipment
Landscape upkeep to include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, and raking and disposing of leaves and refuse.
Facility upkeep of building: including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing windows.
Assists other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies.
Maintains production/maintenance records when applicable
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Performs limited AC/Heater repair
Snow Removal
Painting and repair
Function set-up tables and chairs
Runs mail to offsite mail facility when needed
Transports small equipment or tools between departments
Maintain an orderly,clean and safe work area
Supervision Received
Employee plans and prioritizes most daily activities and tasks within established methods and processes. Work is periodically reviewed prior to completion.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Associate degree in a related field from an accredited college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
Two to four years of related experience is required.
Expeirence trouble shooting and repairing electrical circuitry
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Forklift repair
MS Office products: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and taste or smell.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
