Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Bentonville, AR. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and maneuvering office technology equipment, interacting with client end-users during deliveries, maintaining vehicle inventory and cleanliness, assisting in warehouse operations, and ensuring efficient supply chain management. Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver office technology equipment to client locations while providing exceptional customer service.
- Interact with client end-users during deliveries, ensuring a professional and positive experience.
- Perform vehicle maintenance tasks, including scheduling and delivering oil changes, cleaning, detailing, and maintaining accurate vehicle inventory.
- Assist in warehouse operations, including forklift operations, unboxing and assembling products, organizing and relocating products, and data entry into the ERP system.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards in the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.
- Deliver supplies and parts as needed, utilizing mobile technology for interaction and data entry.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Supervisor and other team members to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to address any delivery-related issues or inquiries.
- Uphold the company’s professional image and values during all customer interactions.
- Adhere to all applicable traffic and safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Positive, team player attitude with an outgoing personality.
- Ability to evaluate and adapt to different customer environments, including office settings, warehouses, and manufacturing floors.
- Strong ability to work independently, take initiative, and be a self-starter.
- Organized with good time management skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, using Microsoft Office applications, Teams, text, and phone.
- Comfortable using technology such as cell phones, iPads, and personal computers.
- Previous experience in customer service with sound judgment, discretion, and initiative.
- Ability to remain reliable, calm, and focused under pressure in a fast-paced atmosphere.
- Clean driving record (CDL is a plus, but not required).
- Possess or able to attain DOT Certification.
- Ability to physically move large equipment and lift up to 60 lbs.
- Experience in forklift operation is preferred.
