A local office equipment supplier is seeking a strong Business Development Manager to join their team! The best person for the position will have a strong sales background. To be successful in this position you must be driven, have the desire to succeed, and you must be able to overcome hurdles in the field. Responsibilities for the position will include but may not be limited to:


  • Lead, motivate, and hold accountable business development team
  • Contacting potential clients to establish a business relationship and meet with them
    • In-person, phone, email, social, community networking
  • Develop new sales programs and improving sales through product/service diversification efforts
    • Establish training programs to improve sales goals and exceed expectations
  • Research the latest in the business industry and creating new opportunities to expand business
  • Collaborate with organizational leadership to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals
  • Strong understanding of company products or services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive
  • CRM – contribute to documentation – this role will be required for documenting all client contact information and/or supporting activity within their CRM profile i.e. contact information, key stakeholders, etc.
  • Facilitate mandatory L10 sales meetings, trainings, and customer events to expand personal knowledge base and community network


Position Requirements:

  • Superior Communication Skills (Face-to-Face, Phone, Email)
    • Ability to communicate effectively complex concepts/information with clarity and precision
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective relationships internally/externally
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven experience with meeting revenue growth targets
    • 3-5 years previous sales/management experience
  • Ability to manage growing client portfolio of 40-50 customers
  • Ability to multi-task and deal with multiple projects/deadlines at one time
  • Long-term focused, Self-motivated, and Driven
  • Computer/Technology Versed – Microsoft Office, CRM Management
  • Superior Organizational Skills; Timely
